A free, open-source extensible geographic information system( Gis ) called the Mapwindow Gis app can be used to share data with others or create and distribute customized spatial data analysis tools.
Standard Gis data modeling features, as well as data converters, Formats assign table proofreading, and Shapefile editing are all included in the apps. Numerous common Gis types, such as Shapefiles, Geotiff, Esri Arcinfo Ascii, and linear systems are supported by Mapwindowgis.
The user user interface is fairly common and simple to use. A chart space, a legend glass, and an preview-map panel are all part of the proxy setup. Additionally, there are built-in toolbar buttons that let you create, save, empty task files, manage, and print maps.
