A free and open-source program called Freeplane helps people think critically, share tips, and complete tasks at home, at play, or in the classroom.
The data contained in consciousness drawings can be analyzed using the programming.
Main Functions Include:
- Take note of using freely positioned, unconnected nodes( post-it’s’s ). creating a hierarchy of concepts( nodes ) with lines( edges ) connecting them. Nodes are categorized using metadata( attributes ) and different style types( system, user-defined, and level styles ). clustering nodes with accolade( summary node ) and visual containers( clouds ).
- Tasking with a calender and reminders, password protection for the entire map and personal nodes using Des encryption, user-friendly interface with line and dialog editors, object-oriented principal menu, context menu options, multi-language support, spell checker, properties panel, drag-and-drop functionality, options for batch execution, publishing, sharing, and configurable preferences.

Freeplane can be used directly or portablely from detachable store, such as a Usb drive, and you pass on any operating system with the most recent adaptation of Java installed.
